Government to bear treatment costs of Padma Shri Sukri Bomma Gowda

Mangaluru, May 11, 2022: The treatment costs of Padma Shri recipient folk singer of Halakki community Sukri Bomma Gowda who underwent a heart surgery at a private hospital in the city, will be borne by the state government, said State Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.
He was speaking to reporters after visiting the hospital and enquiring the health condition of Sukri Bommagowda. The minister said doctors were asked to take special care of the senior tribal artiste.
Doctors informed that Sukri Bomma Gowda’s health was stable after a minor surgery wherein four stents were implanted.
