Mangaluru, Jan 10, 2022: The drive to provide booster doses of Covid vaccines to those eligible above 60 years of age commenced in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on January 10, Monday.
The drive at Wenlock Hospital was inaugurated by DK District in-charge Minister S Angara in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra, Mayor Premananda Shetty and District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr Kishore Kumar.
In Udupi district, the Booster vaccination drive was inaugruated at the Ayush Hospital, Ajjarkad by Coastal Development Authority Chairman Mattaru Ratnaker Hegde.
Udupi Deputy Commissioner M Kurma Rao, District Health Officer Dr Nagabhushana Udupa and others were present.
Booster shots will be available at all government vaccination centres.
