Bengaluru man arrested for insulting Tulunadu flag in FB post

Mangaluru, Jun 19, 2021: Police have arrested a man on the charges of insulting the Tulunadu flag in a Facebook post made by him. The man was arrested from his residence at Rampur in Bengaluru and was brought to the city on June 18.
The arrested man is Surya NK. It has been alleged that he had edited the picture of the flag and also posted offensive comments on June 6.
The arrest was made based on a complaint filed by Corporator and former mayor Shashidhar Hegde. The arrested man has been booked under IPC Section 153(a) and 505(2).
