Badiadka dentist death case: Special probe team formed by Udupi SP

Kundapur, Nov 15, 2022: A special police team headed by Kundapur Circle Inspector Gopikrishna has been formed by SP Akshay Machindra to investigate into the case of suspicious death of Badiadka’s well-known dentist Dr Krishnamurthi.

 

The SP visited Hattiangadi village and inspected the railway track at Kadu Ajjimane near which the body of the dentist was found. The case will be probed from all angles, he said and added that one police team has already left for Kasargod as part of the probe.

The body of the dentist was found  nearly 5 km away from Kundapur police station. His family members have raised suspicions over the cause of the death. In order to clear the doubts the probe has been launched.

Dr Varsha, the daughter of the deceased dentist has also met state home minister Araga Jnanendra seeking a thorough probe into the case.

In Kasargod  police have arrested a youth from Alampady named Rashid for derogatory FB post on the deceased dentist.

Meanwhile, a few arrests have also been made in connection with the death. It may be recalled here that there were allegations that some people had threatened the doctor following allegation that he had misbehaved with a woman.
