Bantwal, Aug 13, 2022: The Thumbay Dam which supplies water to Mangaluru City is illuminated with the Indian tri-colour lights as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Mayor Premananda Shetty said the  dam has been illuminated by the MCC with the active co-operation of MLAs Vedavyas Kamath and Dr Bharath Shetty.

The public can view the attractive illumination from the basement of the Bantwal Bunta Bhavan between 6 pm and 9 pm from August 13 to 15.
