211 Covid-19 cases and 1 death in DK, Udupi reports 148 fresh cases

Mangaluru, Jan 07, 2022: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 211 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Friday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 1,17,048.
33 More Covid patients discharged on Friday, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,14,631. The district has 713 active cases. A total of 1,704 deaths have occurred so far, including 1 on Friday.
Udupi
Udupi disrict has reported 148 fresh cases on Friday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 77,648.
The district has 558 active cases. As many as 17 patients were discharged on Friday, taking the total number of recoveries to 76,611.
A total of 479 deaths have occured so far.
