146 new Covid-19 positive cases in DK; 90 cases in Udupi on August 10

Mangaluru, August 10, 2020: 146 people from Dakshina Kannada and 90 people from Udupi tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, August 10, 2020. Eight more Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in DK and three daths in Udupi district today.

Among the 146 new cases DK, 94 are from Mangaluru, 11 from Bantwal, 7 from Puttur, 1 from Sullia, 16 from Beltangady and 17 are from outside DK district. As many as 533 patients were discharged from hospital today.

With this the total Covid 19 positive cases in the DK district rose to 7,353. As many as 4,215 persons have been discharged and 2,910 cases are currently active. 228 deaths have occurred including 8 deaths today.

Udupi district has reported 90 fresh cases on Monday. Now, the Udupi has a total of 6,291 cases with 2,762 still being treated at the designated hospitals. 3,561 patients recovered and discharged including 117 discharges today. The district has reported 63 COVID-19 fatality.
