’I am guilty’ - Now, lockdown violators made to hold placard

Mangaluru, March 27, 2020:  Police are trying every  trick in the book to crack the whip on lockdown violators. First, many of the violators were baton charged. In many places they were made to do push-ups and squats. And now the police here are making the lockdown violators hold a placard  with the writing "I am guilty, I have violated Covid-19 lockdown orders."

Those who came out of their homes amid  the lockdown for literally no reason were made to hold such placards by the city police and Ramakrishna Mission volunteers at  some places in the city.
