West Asia crisis: SpiceJet to operate four special flights from UAE’s Fujairah

New Delhi, Mar 3, 2026: Amid disruptions caused by the closure of Middle Eastern airspace due to the escalating crisis involving the United States, Israel and Iran, SpiceJet on Tuesday announced the operation of four special flights from Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates to repatriate stranded passengers.

In a statement, the airline said the special services would operate on Tuesday and in the coming days, connecting Fujairah with Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi. Of the four flights, two will operate to Mumbai.

SpiceJet also said it is assessing the possibility of operating additional special flights based on passenger demand and subject to regulatory approvals.

The airline added that its regular Fujairah–Delhi and Fujairah–Mumbai services are scheduled to resume from March 4.
