Tiger Shroff Escapes Unhurt in Mumbai Shooting; Driver Injured

Mumbai, Oct 18, 2026: Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt after unidentified gunmen allegedly opened fire at his BMW car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening. His driver and another person sustained injuries in the attack.

CCTV footage showed two assailants firing at the actor’s car as he was leaving a football ground. One of the attackers reportedly attempted to fire at point-blank range, but his gun jammed. The attackers fled on a motorcycle driven by a third accomplice.

The actor’s driver, Firdaus, was injured in the firing and hospitalised. Footage also showed Shroff moving from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat following the attack.
Police sources said one person had been detained for questioning.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack, citing Shroff’s association with actor Salman Khan. In an audio message, a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit, allegedly linked to the gang, claimed that Shroff was on their hit list.

The Maharashtra government has assured swift action against those responsible. Police are investigating the incident.
