Tejashwi Yadav alleges name missing from Bihar electoral draft list; EC says claim mischievous

Bihar, Aug 2, 2025: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav claimed on Saturday that his name was not mentioned in the electoral roll after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) was conducted in Bihar by the Election Commission (EC), reports news agency ANI.

However, the EC quickly responded to the accusations and termed it ’mischievous’. It said Yadav’s name does appear in the draft electoral roll at Serial Number 416.
