Mumbai, Nov 16, 2025: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is “humbled and deeply touched” after a luxury property in Dubai was recently named in his honour.
Expressing gratitude on social media, Khan wrote, “It is humbling and deeply touching to have a landmark in Dubai carry my name and to be an integral part of the cityscape forever. Dubai has always been a special place for me – a city that celebrates dreams, ambition, and possibility.”

The announcement was made at an event in Mumbai, where Khan was joined on stage by close friend and filmmaker Farah Khan. The duo delighted fans by recreating the iconic Chaiyya Chaiyya moves, originally from the 1998 Mani Ratnam film Dil Se. Both appeared in matching black outfits and performed the signature steps, drawing loud cheers from the audience.
Chaiyya Chaiyya, filmed atop a moving train, remains one of the most memorable songs of Shah Rukh Khan’s career and a milestone in Farah Khan’s journey as a choreographer. The song, which also featured Malaika Arora, continues to be a favourite at parties and weddings decades after its release.
Farah and Shah Rukh share a long-standing professional association dating back to the early 1990s, with Farah choreographing several chart-topping songs featuring the actor. She later made her directorial debut with Main Hoon Na (2004), starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
