Mukul Roy returns to TMC, Mamata says he has come back home

Kolkata, Jun 11, 2021: Mukul Roy, who had joined the BJP with much fanfare, returned to Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Friday.

 

He was felicitated by TMC MP and Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee at the TMC headquarters.

The party also welcomed Mukul Roy’s son, Subhranshu Roy who had too joined the BJP after the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

Welcoming both the father-son duo, party leader Partha Chatterjee said, "Mukul Roy has shown a desire to come back. We welcome him and Subhranshu Roy in front of Mamata Banerjee,"
