Karnataka UGCET 2026 results on June 6; over 3.11 lakh candidates await scores

Bengaluru, Jun 5, 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced that the results of the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026, popularly known as KCET, will be declared on Saturday, June 6.

According to an official notification, Karnataka Medical Education Minister and KEA Chairman Dr Sharan Prakash Patil will formally announce the results at a press conference scheduled for 12 noon. Candidates will be able to access their scorecards online from 2 pm onwards.

More than 3.11 lakh students appeared for the UGCET 2026 examination, which was conducted in pen-and-paper mode across Karnataka from April 22 to April 24.

How to Check Karnataka UGCET 2026 Results

Once the result link is activated, candidates can follow these steps:

1.Visit the official KEA website.
2. Click on the Karnataka UGCET 2026 result link.
3. Enter the required login credentials, including the registration number and date of birth.
4. Submit the details to view the scorecard.
5. Download and save the result for future reference during the admission and counselling process.

Purpose of UGCET

The Karnataka UGCET is conducted by KEA for admission to undergraduate professional courses offered by colleges across the state. The examination serves as the gateway to programmes such as Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science, Veterinary Science, BPharm, Pharm-D, and several other professional courses.

Following the announcement of results, KEA is expected to release the schedule for document verification, option entry, and counselling for admissions.
