
Bengaluru, Jul 2, 2026: The headquarters of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Bengaluru received a bomb threat via email on Thursday, prompting an immediate security response.
Police, along with the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) and a dog squad, rushed to the premises and evacuated all staff members as a precaution while conducting a thorough search of the building.
Following the inspection, authorities confirmed that the threat was a hoax, with no suspicious objects or explosives found on the campus.
Police said the Sanjaynagar Police Station has launched an investigation to trace the source of the email and determine who was behind the threat.
Further investigation is underway.
