ED raids educational institutions linked to Home Minister Parameshwara

Bengaluru, May 21, 2025: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday launched surprise searches at several educational institutions reportedly linked to Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara.

The searches were underway at Sri Siddhartha Medical College and Sri Siddhartha Institute Of Technology in Tumakuru and Sri Siddhartha Institute Of Medical Sciences in Nelamangala on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

While an official statement is awaited, sources indicated that the searches may be linked with irregularities in fundings received by the institutions.
