New Delhi, Oct 21, 2026: The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four people, including two women, in connection with the firing incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai, an official said on Tuesday.

Investigators suspect the accused were acting on the instructions of Anil Pandit, a gangster believed to be operating from abroad, the official said.

Tiger Shroff case

The arrested accused have been identified as Kunal (21) and Sumit (19), both residents of Sonipat district in Haryana, and Radha (23) and Babita (23), both from Uttar Pradesh.

The four were initially produced before a court under Section 35(1)(b) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. Subsequently, the Maharashtra Police Crime Investigation Department sought permission to formally arrest them and take them into custody for interrogation. The court approved the request and granted the Mumbai Police team three days of transit remand, the official said.
Alleged Links to Gangster

According to the Delhi Police Special Cell, Kunal had recently been released from jail on bail. A friend from Harsana village allegedly introduced him to Anil Pandit, a 32-year-old gangster from Panipat who is reportedly based in the United States and linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Kunal subsequently began communicating with Pandit through an encrypted messaging application.

On Pandit’s instructions, Kunal and his associate Sumit allegedly collected a pistol and 20 rounds of ammunition from Amritsar, the official said.
Two Women Allegedly Sent to Mumbai

Around two months ago, Kunal met Radha and developed a relationship with her. He later allegedly disclosed his activities to her and persuaded her to travel to Mumbai with a weapon.

On October 15, Kunal allegedly dropped Radha and Babita at New Delhi Railway Station. The pistol was concealed in Radha’s bag. During their journey, Kunal reportedly remained in contact with the women through the encrypted messaging application and relayed instructions from Pandit.

The two women reached Mumbai on October 17 and checked into a hotel after arriving at Dadar railway station. At around 11 am, a minor boy allegedly collected the bag from Radha near the hotel.
Firing Incident and Arrests

The firing at Shroff’s car was reported at around 7 pm the following day, October 18. According to the official, Pandit subsequently informed Kunal that the alleged shooters were stranded in Mumbai and asked him to arrange their escape.

Radha and Babita allegedly left Mumbai for Delhi aboard the Dadar–Haridwar Express on October 18.

The two women were apprehended at New Delhi Railway Station on Tuesday, while Kunal and Sumit were arrested in Sonipat, the official said.

Further investigation is underway to establish the roles of the accused and uncover the wider network allegedly involved in the incident.
