Addressing the 11th edition of the annual meeting, the Prime Minister urged states to work together to accelerate India’s development journey. "The collective efforts of the Centre and States will play a pivotal role in realising our shared vision of Viksit Bharat," Modi said in a post on X.

Modi highlighted the need for coordinated action to tackle emerging social challenges such as drug abuse and cyber fraud through preventive measures, awareness campaigns, and effective governance.

He also drew attention to concerns arising from El Niño conditions and appealed to states to promote water conservation and encourage natural and organic farming practices, according to an official statement issued after the meeting.

The discussions centred on the theme, "Inclusive Human Development for Viksit Bharat @2047."

Briefing the media, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Ashok Kumar Lahiri said Prime Minister Modi and several chief ministers outlined both short-term and medium-term goals for achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat.

"Viksit Bharat is not a distant goal limited to 2047. It means implementing specific measures and achieving defined targets within set timelines," Lahiri said.

"Viksit Bharat is not just a dream; it consists of actionable points across various sectors," he added.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister also referred to prevailing global uncertainties but asserted that India continues to advance confidently on its growth trajectory.

Referring to India’s recently concluded trade agreements with several countries, Modi urged states to create opportunities for youth and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), while equipping stakeholders to effectively leverage the benefits arising from these agreements. He also called on states to actively attract investments from partner countries.
