Alva’s Virasat, Nudisiri to go international on Jan 31

 Dubai, Jan 30,2013:  The maiden international Alva’s Virasat and Nudisiri  will be inaugurated at Dubai on January 31 and at Abu Dhabi on February 1. Over  80 student artistes from the Alva’s Education Foundation  will present this cultural extravaganza aimed at showcasing the rich culture and heritage of India.

In Dubai, the event will be held at Al Nasr Leisure land Ice Rink and will be inaugurated at 8 pm on January 31.  In Abu Dhabi the programme will inaugurated on February 1  at Abu Dhabi Indian School Auditorium.  Alva’s Virasat and Nudisiri will also be held at Bahrain  at the Kerala Samajam Auditorium.The events  are expected to provide a  great cultural treat to art and music lovers of UAE.


’Alvas Nudisiri’ - a National Conference on Kannada land, language and cultural heritage was initiated in the year 2004 under the aegis of Alva’s Education Foundation.  ’Alva’s Virasat - a National Cultural Meet’ was launched in the year 1994. Alva’s Education Foundation successfully hosted the 9th edition of ’Nudisiri’ conference at Moodbidri in November 2012.

’Vishwa Nudisiri’, a ’World Kannada Conference’, and ‘Vishwa Virasat’ cultural meet are scheduled to be held from December 19 to 22, 2013 at Moodbidri. As part of Vishwa Nudisiri, units will be set up in Gulf countries like Dubai, Muscat, Bahrain and others to spread Kannada language and its cultural heritage. 


To mark the occasion, cultural programmes and get-togethers have been organized on January 31 and February 1 in UAE and February 15 in Bahrain, in order enroll members for the global event.
