Dubai, Aug 29, 2026: Thumbay Media, the media and publishing arm of Thumbay Group, has launched Gulf Education, a new print and digital magazine focusing on the rapidly evolving education sector in the Gulf region.
The launch marks another step in the company’s expansion, taking its publishing portfolio to five titles covering health, education, lifestyle, pets and veterinary care, and culinary and hospitality.
The new magazine comes at a time when the Gulf’s education sector is undergoing significant changes driven by technology, artificial intelligence, emerging learning models, evolving workforce requirements and increased investment in education infrastructure.
Gulf Education aims to provide a platform for schools, universities, educators, students, parents, education leaders and policymakers. Its editorial coverage will focus on classroom innovation, future skills, higher education, technology, student life and developments in global education.
Dr Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of Thumbay Group, said the magazine was launched to provide a fresh platform for the ideas and developments shaping education across the region.
“The Gulf region has one of the most dynamic and ambitious education sectors in the world, and we felt there was a need for a fresh voice that could bring together the many stories, ideas and developments shaping education today,” he said.
He added that the launch of Gulf Education reflects Thumbay Media’s commitment to building publications serving important sectors and communities across the Gulf.
The company’s five-title portfolio currently includes Health Magazine, Living Gulf and Gulf Education, while Gulf Pets & Vets and Gulf Culinary & Hospitality are set to be launched soon.
Health Magazine has more than two decades of publishing experience, while Living Gulf focuses on lifestyle, culture, business and experiences across the Gulf. Gulf Pets & Vets will cover veterinary medicine, animal health and pet care, while Gulf Culinary & Hospitality will focus on food, culinary trends, restaurants, hotels and the wider hospitality sector.
Gulf Education will feature dedicated sections covering teaching and learning, families and student wellbeing, future skills and careers, universities and higher education, and international education developments from a Gulf perspective.
The magazine will be available in both print and digital formats, supported by a website and social media platforms.
