November 28, 2019:  A hilarious video of a tourist in Venice - shot during the floods in the Italian city - has gone crazy viral on social media. Since the beginning of November, Venice battled difficult conditions as the city was hit by its highest tide in more than 50 years.

The four-second clip has been shared on Twitter by StanceGrounded and has garnered over five lakh views so far. Of course, because it is funny. The clip features a man wading through a flooded area in Venice with a selfie stick and guess what happened next?

Well, you need to watch the video below.

The video has garnered over 26,000 likes while netizens posted funny lines in the comments section. "While in Venice, be like scuba diver," a user said while another added, "Scoot over! We are all coming along."

Venice, a World Heritage Site, was flooded on November 12 by a tidal surge of 187 cm, the highest level since 1966, when a 194 cm tide was recorded, news agency IANS reports. Within the next four days, Venice’s St Mark’s Square was completely drowned in water.
