Surprised pregnant woman found ’image of dinosaur’ in her ultrasound scan

July 27, 2015: This foetus still had 20 weeks to go until it came into the world, but it was already a real tricera-tot.

When mum-to-be Leanne Sullivan, 29, went in for her halfway ultrasound scan, she couldn’t have known that the image would contain a prehistoric surprise.

Pregnant-woman...Surprise: what do you see when you look at the top of this baby scan?

The William Hill customer assistant from Liverpool, who is now due to deliver her first baby daughter Ruthie-Lou in just five weeks’ time, did not notice the long dinosaur neck on the scan when she brought back from hospital in April.

The scan showed up just a month before the new Jurassic Park film, Jurassic World, hit cinemas and smashed box office records.

But pal Jenny Mason spotted the dinosaur and pointed out to her pregnant pal and council worker partner James Fletcher, 25.

The eye-catching scan which appears to resemble a brontosaurus, from the late Jurassic period, has been a hit online after Jenny shared it on social media.

Leanne said: "I really didn’t see at all until Jenny mentioned it - she pointed it out straight away.

"But once you have a proper look at it you can really see that it actually does look like a dinosaur.

"I wouldn’t say I’m a big dinosaur fan but I did go and watch the new Jurassic Park film the other week after this happened.

"The baby is doing fine and the pregnancy has all gone really well but I’m desperate for her to come out now - I’m ready to be done with it."
