Puppy with extra tail on its forehead goes crazy viral

November 15, 2019:  A picture of an adorable puppy with a tail on its forehead has gone viral on social media after it was shared on Facebook. The puppy is 10 weeks old and was abandoned following which it was rescued by Mac’s Mission, an animal rescue centre in Missouri, US.

 

 

On Facebook, Mac’s Mission shared a picture of the puppy that has a second tail on the centre of its forehead and resembles a unicorn. It has been named Narwhal.

"So far the tail in his forehead does not wag that we have seen. We have also named him "Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn". He is perfect and your donations allow us to save unicorns like him, thank you," an excerpt from the post reads.

So, so cute!

Narwhal’s picture has garnered almost 6,000 likes on Facebook and shared over 800 times. "He is so precious. And lovely God definitely has good plans for him," a user wrote in the comments section while another added, "I wish to meet and love on this guy. He’s so cute!"

Meanwhile, Mac’s Mission consulted doctors and were told that there was "no medical need to remove" the extra tail considering that it did not cause Narwhal any pain, BBC reports.

Rochelle Steffen, who operates Mac’s Mission, told BBC that Narwhal cannot be adopted at the moment. This is because the staff wants him to "grow a bit more and truly make sure the tail doesn’t become a bother or a problem".
