Surat, Jun 11, 2018: People of Surat showered currency notes of Rs 10, 2000 and 500 on bhajan singers during an event held on June 10. The event was organised by Jay Thakur Kamdhenu Gauraksha Trust for construction of a veterinary hospital.

Renowned Gujarati singer Brijrajdan Gadhvi performed at the event while people showered currency notes on him during his performance. The worth of the money showered has been estimated to be around Rs 1.5 crore. However, the singer stated that he won’t take a penny from the amount of money showered as it will be used for the construction of the hospital.
