Shilpa Shetty, now a producer

February 4: Shilpa Shetty, who recently got married to UK businessman Raj Kundra, is back to work. The actress, who has been planning to produce a film under her banner S2 Global Productions, has finally signed on Nagesh Kukunoor to direct her next film. The director, who is usually known to make socially-relevant films, is directing a love story this time. Shilpa had shortlisted a few directors and was in talks with them but Nagesh was her final choice, for which she plans to rope in some big names.

 

The pretty actress is also busy with her Indian Premiere League commitments. As co-owner of IPL team Rajasthan Royals, she will get busy traveling for matches along with her team. She will start work on the film after she wraps up her IPL commitments.
