The nikkah ceremony held at a prominent convention centre in the capital city was a grand affair attended by more than 3000 guests. Nazriya looked ethereal in a heavily embroidered peach and black Sabyasachi lehenga with golden detailing. The actress accessorised her lehenga with a kundan necklace with uncut diamonds and a heavy neckpiece studded with rubies. Fahadh, who is known for his casual dressing, looked suave in a fitted grey bandhgala half jacket, which he teamed up with a white shirt and dark grey pants.

The stage for the nikkah ceremony resembled a movie set and had the initials of the couple engraved in the backdrop. The wedding feast reportedly had 70 varieties of delicacies for the guests, who included Mollywood celebrities like Dulquer Salmaan and his wife Amal Sufiya, Meera Nanda, Manianpilla Raju, Jacob Gregory, Vijay Yesudas’ wife Darshana and many more. Political bigwigs, including Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Minister for Industries and IT P K Kunhalikutty among others, blessed the couple.

Interestingly, the invite to the lavish star-studded wedding had a special chip embedded on it for the identification of high profile guests and to keep gate crashers at bay. Though the media was completely kept away from the nikkah ceremony, Fahadh and Nazriya obliged later by posing for pictures.

Following the marriage, a reception will be held on August 24 at Pathirapally, Fahadh’s hometown in Alleppey.
