Naked weddings? Absolutely not, says UK

Britain is not going to allow nude weddings anytime in the near future. Turning down a demand by naturists, Justice Secretary Chris Gayling has said that it might never be a nice day for a nude wedding and said that he had ’no intention’ of allowing naked wedding ceremonies.

This comes close on the heels of a 2013 legislation which made gay marriages legal in the UK. It was said at that time that further sweeping changes would be done to the wedding law.

The issue of naked weddings came up for discussion when ministers kicked off the wedding laws review last week among other issues that were taken up for consideration such as where marriage ceremonies can take place.

For now, British Naturism’s demand that naked weddings be allowed has been turned down. Grayling told BBC, "No nude marriage right now as far as I’m concerned."
