Katrina Kaif tests Covid positive, in home quarantine

April 06, 2021:      Katrina Kaif is the latest Bollywood star to test positive for the novel coronavirus. The actress took to her Instagram stories to inform her fans and followers that she has tested positive and is under home quarantine.

This news comes a day after Katrina’s rumoured boyfriend Vicky Kaushal tested positive for Covid-19.

WHAT DID KATRINA KAIF SHARE?

Katrina Kaif shared a note on her Instagram stories to inform everyone that she has tested Covid-positive. She wrote, "I have tested positive for Covid-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I’m following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors (sic)."

 

 

She further added, "Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe and take care (sic)."

FILM INDUSTRY HIT BY COVID-19 SECOND WAVE

The second wave of the novel coronavirus isn’t going easy on the film industry. Many Bollywood celebrities have tested positive in the recent past. These include Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Aamir Khan and more. This has also led to a delay in the shooting of many films. Akshay’s much-awaited film, Sooryavanshi, has again been postponed due to a spike in Covid-19 cases across the country.
