Katrina Kaif expresses her desire to star in Game of Thrones

Katrina Kaif in Game of Thrones! How is that thought to ponder upon on a cloudy Tuesday evening? We say, HELL YES! The Ek Tha Tiger actress took to her Instagram page and shared a throwback picture from one of her most popular photoshoots with Vogue. Dressed in a bohemian manner, the diva is looking absolutely stunning. But what caught our attention more than anything was the caption.

We love how Katrina gives a light note to her posts through her witty captions. This time she expressed the desire to be a part of Game of Thrones. The popular series that has the world riveted to the battle for the Iron throne has an admirer in Katrina. She said “Can I be in #gameofthrones pleeeeeasseee… #ilovejonsnow #pleasetakemeintheshow” Yep, not only does she want to be part of GoT, she also loves Jon Snow like every normal human being. We have repeatedly told you how Katrina is so much like us.

Well, it might be too late for Katrina to join the ensemble of Game of Thrones, but still we thought it would be fun to have a fantasy casting for her. So, how about you tell us which character you’d have loved to see Katrina portray on screen in Game of Thrones, in a parallel universe!


Katrina will be next seen in the Anand L Rai film that has Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of a dwarf. This will mark her reunion with SRK and Anushka Sharma after the Yash Chopra’s swansong, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. She is also slated to star in the ambitious YRF project, Thugs of Hindostan, with Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Rumour has it that the lead cast will play Indian pirates in this film. Then of course Katrina has Tiger Zinda Hai, with her ex-beau, Salman Khan. The movie is a sequel to their hit 2012 action romance film, Ek Tha Tiger. Salman and Katrina reprise the roles of Tiger and Zoya in this film, being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who is replacing Kabir Khan from the first one.

Well, with a shining roster of movies like that, we think Katrina has neither any need nor time to be a part of Game of Thrones.

BTW Game of Thrones season 7 finale airs next Monday in India. The finale episode will be 81-minutes long and will set the tone for the 8th and final season of this fantasy adventure TV series.
