How Bollywood is setting the cut-out dress trend

November 25, 2019:  The peek-a-boo fashion trend, that most of our Bollywood ladies are hooked to at the moment looks quite sultry. It has an understated appeal to it and we are all up for it. The varied shape of cuts accentuates their perfect curves and B-Town is off lately been setting the trends right with these cut-out dresses. They are perfect for a Sunday brunch, date night or movie outings with the girl gang.

Often these geometrical cuts are carved out from the centre, toned midriff, from the sides or the back. Here are some cut-out outfits that caught our undivided attention.

Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti Chopra went for an embellished black gown from the house of Falguni Shane Peacock. Styled by Mohit Rai, the gown has intricate feature detailing at the hemline of the gown. The diamond-cut right on the neckline made her look gorgeous yet alluring. The look was completed with smokey eyes and bubblegum pink shade for the lips.

Malaika Arora

Only Malaika Arora could have pulled this sultry ensemble by Julien Macdonald. Styled by Tanvi Ghavri, the one-shoulder gown has a triangle-cut near the waist accentuating her abs and a thigh-high slit we completely love. The look was completed with curled hair, a bright crimson red lip, winged eyeliner and tear-drop diamond earrings.

Karisma Kapoor

In a Prabal Gurung gown, Karisma Kapoor looked nothing but ethereal. She was seen wearing a black and white gown with cut out near the side of her waist and bead detailing on the cut-out. The look was pulled together with a sleek ponytail and a red lip.

Nushrat Bharucha

Looks like the Pyaar ka punchnama actor is ready to take the town down with this embellished little dress from the house of Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna. The dress had a cold shoulder cut-out and a cut out near the waist. The look was completed with a pair of black wedges from Steve Madden and wet hair styled by Suman Kaloya.

Kareena Kapoor

The Veere Di Wedding actor was spotted in a pastel yellow dress from the label Dion Lee. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, the outfit was risque and chic and we loved the diamond-like cut out at the waist which not only gave an interesting twist to the whole look but also elevated it. The look was rounded out with stilettos from Fenty and accessorised with hoop earrings and chunky diamond rings. Kajal and messy hairdo completed the look.
