Deepika Padukone rocks 90s neon chic style

Jun 10, 2019 : Deepika Padukone was spotted at the Mumbai airport recently in a lime green and white retro sporty outfit that not only called back to the 90s throwback trend that has been sweeping fashion but also husband Ranveer Singh’s personal style, Yahoo reported.

 

Deepika was reportedly flying out to London where Ranveer is shooting for Kabir Khan’s 83. Twitter citizens were surprised by Deepika’s unsubtle colour choice and while some didn’t take to it kindly, most agreed that Deepika seemed to be inspired by her husband’s flashy and unconventional fashion sense, mostly for the better.

One wrote: "What’s wrong with her fashion sense? I think she’s just following in her husband’s footsteps."

Another wrote that after Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in Italy in November 2018, Ranveer didn’t change, but he changed Deepika.

Some even compared her outfit to a neon suit that Ranveer had posed in a few months ago.

"Ranveer also wore this kind of a neon green outfit during Gully Boy’s promotion," wrote an Instagram user.

Another wrote: "Ranveer Singh effect."

"Now she is on a mission to prove that she is Ranveer’s wife," another one wrote.

Deepika was last seen on the big screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. She recently wrapped up the shooting of her next feature Chhapaak.
