Taking up challenging roles and doing justice to them is the hobby of Bollywood Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan. Remember the maverick teacher in Black? Well this time he is poised to surprise us yet again by playing a different and demanding role in the forthcoming movie ‘Paa’, which is slated for release in December.

 

Though the character he played is challenging, Big B is said to have played it magnificently. Adding a reel life – real life twist is the fact that the movie has his real life son – the ‘Junior B.’ Abhishek - as his reel life dad. The story revolves around the boy (Amitabh) who suffers from a critical and rare congenital disease Progeria. This disease makes the sufferer age rapidly. Amitabh has brought alive the character with finesse.

The movie is directed by Balkhi (of Cheeni Kum fame). The story is said to be actually built around the emotional father-son relationship, with the ailment as background.
