’Mujhe sex bahut pasand hai was not awkward to say’: Bhumi Pednekar

Manglore Today News Network

Mumbai, Dec 09, 2019: Bhumi Pednekar is rushing from theatre to theatre as I catch up with her. The beautiful and talented actress is smiling from ear to ear. And why not? Her latest release Pati Patni Aur Woh, wherein she plays the Patni, has made everyone sit up to her acting abilities, more than Saand Ki Aankh and Bala did.

So yeah, everyone is talking about her three back-to-back impressive performances, but this ardent follower of cinema is also reminded of Sonchiriya where she hardly spoke but still won hearts- so really speaking, PPAW is the 4th in row-Hattrick Plus One.

"Seeing your own film with the public gives you a nice barometer, I guess, to judge whether they are liking it. Hearing and seeing thrm laugh so much in PPAW gave me ample satisfaction," she tells SpotboyE.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Bhumi was just out from PVR Juhu and headed to Gaiety when I struck up a brief conversation with her, last evening."I don’t understand numbers much, but yes. PPAW has been loved and I am glad about that. The trailer had been well received and we were expecting good results, but at the end of every day towards the end of the final wait, we eventually had our fingers crossed," Pednekar admits.

Hurrying to a close as she is about to reach Gaiety, we ask the question without which this tete-a-tete would be incomplete. Did she find it difficult to say the dialogue ’Mujhe sex bahut pasand hai’ in PPAW. Pat comes the reply, "Nope, it wasn’t awkward. My character is of a today’s girl, isn’t it?"

Bhumi, I repeat (wrote it in my review as well. READ ABOVE)  that with PPAW you have emerged as someone who can give an expression in every scene that you do- a feature more prominent in the classic heoines of yesteryears. "Thank you, so much" she responds, before getting into Bandra’s famous single screen.
