Feb 22, 2019 - She might be just 3 months and 2 movies old in the industry,  but Sara Ali Khan has not wasted a minute in conquering the cine goers of this geography.

And still, she remains to be the next-door-girl in her flawless but unpretentious looks. A star on the silver screen, Sara is a just one among us on the streets. Her signature style comprises white kurtis, bangles and bright dupattas.


Indigo it is

The indigo prints, or the block prints in blue on the pure cotton fabric has gained a lot of popularity lately. While we are wearing them on kurtis and sarees, Sara Ali Khan just tutored us on a whole new way of embracing the indigo. She teams up a plain chikankari kurti with a pair of extra flared shararas and a matching dupatta. A bright pop of color on the lips completes the otherwise make-up free look.

If this click doesn’t melt your heart into a puddle, I don’t know what will. On Rakshabandhan last year, Sara dolled up in a simple white salwar-kameez with little golden embellishments all over. A pair of minakari earrings and green glass bangles rounded up the look – a look that is so ‘girl next door’, and in its ordinariness lies its uniqueness.

On her way to Vaishno Devi, Sara slipped into a white salwar and a simple indigo kurti. To fight the chill, she reached for her Colombia University sweatshirt, and threw on a warm scarf. Not a speck of makeup and still she glows like an LED bulb. Some real Nawabi genes working their magic, we believe.

This is her statement look, and we say so after minutely studying her Instagram account. Many garment brands send her white kurtis and salwar-kameez as a token of love and she gratifyingly flaunts all those gifts on her pic-sharing platform. A dozen of glass bangles and danglers are enough to complete the minimalistic look.
