Mumbai, April 4: The title track of Kangana Ranaut starrer Revolver Rani is out. Singer Usha Uthup, a powerhouse of singing talent, has lent her voice for the track.

The song is composed by Sanjeev Srivastava and the lyrics are by Puneet Sharma.

 

"Usha-ji has sung the title track of ’Revolver Rani’. We wanted someone who had a husky deep voice and who better than Usha-ji to sing for us! In fact, this is the first time that she is singing for Kangana and both of them are equally happy to be associated with each other," said a source associated with the project.

Kangana plays a local goon in the film which is a political drama set in rural Madhya Pradesh.

The movie is a satirical and unusual love story set against the back drop of politics. Kangana is playing Alka Gujjar (aka Revolver Rani) and her obsessive love for Rohan Mehra (played by Vir Das).


The film, directed by Sai Kabir Shrivastava, also stars Piyush Mishra, Zakir Hussain and Pankaj Saraswat.

Kangana is currently riding high on the success of her film "Queen", and viewers are now looking forward to the release of "Revolver Rani", which hits theatres April 25.
