Mumbai, Oct 25, 2015: Cricket superstar Virat Kohli landed in Mumbai on Friday for Saturday’s ODI against South Africa but actress-girlfriend Anushka Sharma was on his priority list too, ahead of the match. Kohli walked out of the airport and headed straight for lunch with Anushka.

The couple it seems was in the mood for some Chinese. They were spotted lunching at a swanky restaurant in Bandra for around an hour.

 

 

Accompanying them was Anushka’s father Ajay Sharma. By the time they emerged out of the restaurant, a few press shutterbugs had arrived to catch all the action. As they clicked away furiously, the glam couple and Sharma senior quickly got into their car and drove off.

Anushka was her usual casual self, in sleeveless white top and ripped denims worn with white sneakers and chunky shades. Virat opted for leather sandals with his denim-and tee ensemble. The mood for the couple seemed an unplanned one.

A source close to the couple said Virat wanted to celebrate with Anushka his smashing century in the fourth ODI as well as India’s recent victory over the Proteas. Virat’s 138 off 140 balls on Thursday makes him the second-highest century maker for India in ODIs.

Recent reports in sections of the media had stated that Virat and Anushka had a tiff over a sexy photo shoot that the actress did for a magazine cover, but Friday’s date would seem to put any such rumour to rest. Virat and Anushka first met while shooting for a shampoo commercial in 2013. Over time, they have come to openly accept being lovers. Recent reports have stated that the duo might buy an apartment in a posh Mumbai locality and move in together.
