Aug 19, 2016: We all know how socialite and columnist Shobha De commented about Indian athletes not doing well at the ongoing Rio Olympics. Ms De had said, “Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity.”
While she received a lot of backlash for this comment of hers, cricketing star Virat Kohli was the most recent one to comment on it indirectly. He tweeted his congratulations to Bronze medalist Sakshi Malik saying, “Only an athlete knows the importance of a win. Our Olympic Heroes are fighting everyday to bring glory for India.Congratulations Sakshi Malik."
Deepika apparently agreed with this message as she re-tweeted this tweet. The dimpled beauty, who is also a sports person, obviously agreed whole heartedly with Mr Kohli.
