Mumbai, July 19, 2014: At 40, Malaika Arora Khan is definitely the most lively item girls that we have in Btown. After peppy dance numbers like Munni Badnam Hui , Pandeyji and Anarkali Disco Chali in her previous outings, Malaika will be seen in a sizzling avatar in an item number in Dolly Ki Doli , produced by Arbaaz Khan.

 

Donning aviator glasses and bright ghagra choli , Malaika dances on a peppy track with quirky lyrics Fashion Khatam Mujh Par , which was shot in Mumbai recently. The song will also feature national award winning actor Rajkummar Rao, in a never seen before role, as he shakes a leg with Malaika.

Set in the backdrop of a small town wedding, Malaika will be seen dancing on the peppy tunes of Fashion Khatam with a number of background dancers, wearing the desi ghagra designed by Rick Roy. Sung by Sajid Wajid, the track has been choreographed by Remo D’Souza.

Making wave with her debut dance number Chaiya Chaiya in Dil Se, in 1998, Malaika has been successful in creating ripples with each of her songs. She was the first actress to have performed a pole dance in Mahi We in Kaante . Hugely popular Munni Badnam Hui from Dabangg brought back the lost glory of nautanki- based dance numbers on screen.

 

The film features Sonam Kapoor opposite Rajkummar, who plays a rich small town boy. The offbeat love triangle also has Pulkit Samrat.

For the film, Sonam discards her designer outfits only to be seen as a simple salwar- kurta clad Dolly in the film that will be released on February 2015.
