Feb 12, 2018: We sometimes wonder if picking celebs who made us cringe with their outfits is easier than the ones who managed to impress us.

There are times when Bollywood celebs stun us with their stylish offerings, so much so, that we’re compelled to stay hooked to our screens. But on other days, they are just too blah for us to ignore. Style is often a reflection of one’s persona and we need to be careful as to what message we send across. We agree that not every individual can be a stunner or a fashionista but picking up a decent outfit isn’t really an uphill task, is it? Joining the category of worst dressed celebs this week and disappointing us further with their outfits are names like Kriti Sanon, Vaani Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Rani Mukerji. Let’s take a look at where they went wrong and how…

 

Janhvi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor, who’s busy shooting for her debut movie, Dhadak, these days, took some time out to attend the Lakme Fashion Week held over the last week. Attending Anamika Khanna’s finale show, with mommy dearest, Sridevi, the star kid opted for separates by the same designer. Probably the print was too much for our eyes and even Janhvi failed to carry it gracefully. Print on print seldom works for us.

Rani Mukerji

 

Rani Mukerji is currently neck deep in promotions for her comeback film, Hichki. The actress was recently present on the sets of Dance India Dance 6 when she picked a Sabyasachi Mukherjee attire for her appearance. The silhouette was too blah and shararas aren’t even in trend now. Fortunately Rani didn’t pick any jewellery but just a pair of dangler earrings. We loved her makeup for the day and wished her outfit was equally captivating.

Kriti Sanon

 

Kriti Sanon is a celebrity who features frequently in our worst dressed category and rarely features in the best. It’s either her bad fashion choices or simply the fact that she fails to strike a chord with us that makes her a serial offender. Opting for a multicoloured blingy dress and tying a denim skirt with it is a new trend but she gets it all wrong. And someone please ask her to stop wearing sneakers all the time.

Madhuri Dixit

Is that a saree with a twist? If yes, we’re sorry but it’s damn boring. Also the colour choice is a big disappointment. Pairing a sky blue satin saree with a blousson jacket is a perfect example of mix-n-match going wrong. Madhuri, who’s otherwise a good dresser, was definitely not in being herself while giving a nod to something as hideous as this.

Vaani Kapoor

Vaani Kapoor is otherwise a stunner and her fashion picks are always a delight for our eyes. She’s blessed with a tall and lean frame and that helps her flaunt any silhouette in the universe. Unfortunately the actress fails to make the correct use of her body type by opting for dresses that will accentuate her figure. Picking a printed green off-shoudler midi from Mrs SelfPortrait, Vaani disappointed us big time with her recent appearance. Hope she goes back to picking the right outfits once again.
