Actors Tarun Khanna, Vivana Singh arrested at Mumbai airport for carrying weapons

Mumbai, Sept 17: We often hear about celebrities getting detained and questioned at airports for various reasons. Two more get added to the list and we are talking about actors Tarun Khanna and Vivana Singh! Reports suggest that the two got arrested at Mumbai airport yesterday while travelling to Lucknow for their upcoming show Police Factory.

 

The two are required to play cops in the show and were seen carrying revolvers. Well no it’s not what you are thinking, the revolvers were fake but that was enough to land them in some major trouble! Vivana and Tarun were seen were carrying the fake revolvers and immediately stopped and questioned by the security officials.

Tarun while talking about the incident to a portal said, “We were thoroughly checked and stripped to find out if we were carrying any concealed weapons. We tried telling them that we are actors but they continued with the check. It was an embarrassing situation but we need to understand the security discipline. Infact, Vivana’s father is a cop, but today we had to undergo whatever they asked for. Finally, they let us go finding out that those were just plastic revolvers.”

The police finally let the two go after a strict interrogation session. Well that must have been intense and we hope Vivana and Tarun are okay now!
