DK Auto Association donates Rs. 1.10 Lakh for Karnataka Flood Relief

Mangaluru, September 28, 2018: Dakshina Kannada Automobile & Tyre Dealers Association has donated an amount of Rs. 1.10 Lakh to the ‘Chief Minister’s Calamity Relief Fund Karnataka’ in an effort to reach out to the victims of flood-affected areas of Karnataka, especially Kodagu and Dakshina Kannada districts.

The amount was handed over to Sri Sasikanth Senthil S., Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district at his office in Mangalore on Thursday, 27th September 2018 by a delegation of the Association led by President Sri Kasturi Prabhakar Pai and comprising Vice President Sri Harsha Kumar, Secretary Sri K. Vilas Kumar and Patron Sri K. G. Shenoy. The amount was raised with the help of voluntary contributions made by the Association members and from Association’s own savings.

We are also deeply grateful to the state government and the relief agencies for the speedy restoration of the road connectivity which brought much needed relief to the transport sector.
