Aarohan-2018 camp concludes in M’luru

Mangaluru: The two-day monsoon camp of Ayudh (Amrita Yuva Dharma Dhara) – the youth wing of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi - “Aarohan-2018” - was successfully completed at the Amrita Vidyalayam in Mangaluru.

The camp was conducted by Prakash Deole of Mumbai with the coordination of Yashwin Dhanpal and Meenu of ‘Ayudh.’

The camp was intended to develop leadership qualities among youth based on culture and morality and ethics. Participants hailed from various parts of Karnataka and neighbouring states.

Brahmacharini Mangalamrta Chaitanya, local Mutt head inaugurated the two-day camp and said that continuous learning, confidence and hard work will contribute towards personality development.

Dr Ashajyothi Rai, social worker and medical practitioner called upon the younger generation to forward with new ideas for the welfare. The elders should support the ideas of the younger generation.

Various adventure games, mind boggling exercises, technical sessions and entertainment programmes were covered in the camp.

Dr Y Bharath Shetty and Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Pre-university College Principal Prof T Krishnamurthy were the chief guests on the occasion.
