160 shrill horn cases booked in city by police

Mangaluru, July 12, 2018:  City Traffic Police have booked 160 shrill horn cases, to mark traffic safety month. The police have also conducted a drive on No Parking and locked about 40 vehicles, said DCP Crime.

In Gokarnanatha College and Badriya Degree College, awareness programmes were conducted by west police station.

The Mangaluru South traffic rural police conducted awareness programme at Capitanio School.

City traffic police also conducted a drive on no-parking areas and locked over 40 vehicles, said DCP (Crime) Uma Prashanth.

Public voice the opinion that many two wheelers too have loud horns that scare and disturb on road and in traffic, and not buses alone.
