Moodbidri: Alva’s Education Foundation will organise the placement drive ‘ Alva’s Pragati’ at Vidyagiri Campus, Moodbidiri, on July 6 and 7, stated a press release.   The event will be inaugurated by DK DC, Sasikanth Sentil on July 6, Friday at 9.30 am.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian, former ministers K Abhaychandra Jain and Amarnath Shetty will be the chief guests. Alva’s Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva will preside.

Alva’s Pragati 2018 features the participation of top recruiters, representing major sectors such as Manufacturing, IT, Sales and Retail, Banking and Finance, Hospitality, Education and NGO. These sectors offer a large number of openings for graduates and postgraduates in various streams such as Medical and Para-Medical, Engineering, Arts, Commerce & Management, Basic Sciences, Nursing, ITI, Diploma, Skilled Manpower, with PUC, SSLC and other qualifications.

There are more than 300 job openings in leading hospitals for BSc/GNM nurses across India. The Banking and Financial services sector offers more than 1,200 jobs for graduates and postgraduates such as MBA and MCom qualified candidates.

There are more than 450 job openings for ITI- qualified manpower. Also, there are more than 250 openings for Mechanical and Automobile Diploma holders for an apprenticeship in various companies.

Highest openings in Alva’s Pragati-2018 are available for BSc, BCom, BBM, BA and basic graduation degree holders. Sales and Retail sector is also offering huge openings, numbering around 100, for SSLC and PUC qualified personnel. Major IT player, Wipro, will be absorbing candidates from BSc, BCA for WIMS profiles. More than 400 core engineering jobs in this year.

Registration  :  Registration is open for all candidates only on July 6. The second day will be open for the previous day’s shortlisted candidates. Online registration is compulsory for job aspirants to streamline and digitize the entire recruitment/selection process. Accommodation will be arranged for outstation candidates from July 5 onwards.
