City gets 3rd Central school, near NITK

Mangaluru, June 02, 2018: DK MP Nalin Kumar Kateel stated that the Union government has sanctioned another Kendriya Vidyalaya (Central school), the third one, for Mangaluru. 

It would come up on five acres of land on the premises of the National Institute of Technology-Karnataka (NIT-K) at Surathkal, he told reporters here on Sunday. The school is expected to function from the 2019-20 academic year. The city has Kendriya Vidyalayas at Yekkur and Panambur.
