ACB books former DK district surgeon

Mangaluru, July 1, 2018: The Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths have filed a case against former district surgeon of Wenlock Hospital Dr Saroja and first grade assistants B G Yashoda and K B Suma over irregularities in the purchase of surgical gloves, linen clothes and bedding materials in 2011-12 and 2012-13.

Based on a complaint that irregularities to the tune of Rs 11,42,280 has taken place in the purchase of materials, a case has been registered under Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
