Monsoon to arrive on coast early this year

Mangaluru, May 20, 2018: The rains are set to arrive earlier this year, going by the thunder storms last few nights and early today morning. The meteorological department has predicted monsoon to enter Kerala on May 29 this year.

Monsoon is expected to appear three days in advance this year. The department expects monsoon wind to pass through Andaman Island in Bay of Bengal on May 23 and reach Kerala on May 29.

On the other hand, the cyclonic storm titled “Sagar” that was created fall out in atmospheric pressure over Arabian Sea has been moving towards the Gulf.
