Mall heist, man cheats students.

May 15, 2018:  A miscreant had robbed students of gold ornaments when they had been to a mall in KS Rao Road, recently.

The students have filed a complaint at Mangaluru North Police Station in this regard.

Keerthan (19) and his friend Sandeep Jain (19), who are pursuing engineering in a college had been to a mall on May 8. While returning back home after watching a movie, a man stopped them at the entrance to the mall, said the students in their complaint.

The man reportedly told them that the duo had been thrashing boys in their college. "Our Don and Sulthan are waiting outside. I will hand over the chains you are wearing to the boss to satisfy him. Otherwise, they will attack you, the man threatened us," said the complainants.

Scared over the threat, Keerthan handed over his chain, which was worth Rs 45,000 while Sandeep gave his chain, worth Rs 65,000, to the man.

The CCTV camera has captured the incident. The Mangaluru North Police have collected the CCTV footage for investigation.
