LIC announces Corporation Bank as Insurance Bank

Mangalore, March 26: The Life Insurance Corporation of India has announced the Moodubidri branch of Corporation Bank as insurance bank. 

Udupi Division Officer of LIC Uma Rao handed over the plaque pronouncing Corporation Bank as Insurance Bank to I Mohan Rao Prabhu, the Moodubidri branch officer, on March 23. The division officer said that Corporation Bank and LIC are collaborating for the development of the country. She also provided information about “Health Plus,” a new LIC policy. 

M J Bhandarkar, the Corporation Bank zonal officer, said that Udupi has 68 branches of Corporation Bank. The Moodubidri branch has adopted a village and has decided to announce it as a complete insurance village by focusing on financial matters, said the officer. 

LIC of India honored the officers of Corporation Bank by presenting mementos. 

Shashi Kumar, the branch officer of Karkala; Krishnayya, the supervisor of Corporation Bank insurance; K N Dathathreya, the branch officer of LIC Moodabidri; and many others were present.
