17.82% annual growth for Karnataka Bank

Mar 23, 2018: Speaking at a meeting of the bank’s regional heads  the bank’s MD and CEO M.S. Mahabaleshwara stated Karnataka Bank registered an annual growth of 17.82% as against the 8% growth of the Indian banking sector during 2017-18.

He noted that advances during the year grew by 28.54% even as the total business for the year stood at Rs. 1.1 lakh crore. Commending the workforce on the achievement, he urged them to register another milestone by doing business of Rs. 1.3 lakh crore in 2018-19.

He said technology would continue to form an integral part of the growth journey of the bank. Customer service should be the top priority as Karnataka Bank is known for its customer service, he said.
